Tidey does not collect any personal data. Your files stay on your Mac. We don't track what you delete or keep. We don't have analytics in the app. We don't know who you are or what's on your desktop.

What Data We Collect

None. Tidey runs entirely on your Mac. The app:

• Does not connect to the internet (except to check for updates)
• Does not send any files or file names anywhere
• Does not track your usage or behavior
• Does not use analytics or telemetry
• Does not require an account or login

License Validation

When you activate Tidey with your email, we verify your purchase against our database. This is the only network request the app makes (besides update checks). We store your email and a device identifier to prevent license sharing. We do not store or transmit any information about your files.

Update Checks

Tidey uses Sparkle to check for updates. This sends a request to our server to check if a new version is available. No personal information is included in this request.

Website Analytics

Our website (trytidey.com) uses privacy-friendly analytics to understand traffic. We do not use cookies for tracking, and we do not sell or share any data with third parties.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle your payment data.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data from the app, there's nothing to delete or export. If you'd like us to delete your purchase record (email and device ID), contact us and we'll remove it.
